Guest-count scenario

Change the assumptions

10 guests500 guests

This is a scenario tool. Enter the amounts that genuinely change with each guest rather than dividing every wedding expense by the guest count.

The useful distinction

Some wedding costs change with every guest. Others barely move.

Catering, beverages, favours and some rentals are usually guest-sensitive. Photography, entertainment and many venue charges may stay almost the same whether 150 or 170 people attend. Separating those two categories makes guest-count decisions much clearer.

01

Variable

Meals, drinks, place settings, favours and any other charge that is genuinely priced per person.

02

Step costs

Extra tables, servers, shuttles or rooms may change only after the guest count crosses a capacity threshold.

03

Fixed

Photography, DJ, ceremony fees and many design costs often remain similar within a reasonable attendance range.

Use the result wisely

Do not cut people only because a slider shows a number

The simulator is meant to reveal the financial effect of attendance, not decide who matters. Use it when comparing venue capacities, building an early budget range, or deciding whether a larger guest count forces other compromises.
